Amyris Femme is a sweet, woody, aromatic scent created for Women in 2012 by Francis Kurkdjian.
Review
This scent is a marriage between multifaceted Amyris and Florentine Iris. The result is a scent that is feminine and elegant, yet playful and fresh. Its romantic essence makes it perfect for any occasion, from brunch with the girls, to the office, to a garden party or afternoon wedding. It has been compared to Chanel Coco Mademoiselle(minus the Patchouli and Rose).
Inspiration
Amyris is a Haitian tree/shrub that produces a slightly sweet, woody, fruity scent naturally. Its name comes from the Greek word(Amyrron) meaning “intensely scented”. It is used in scents both for its sweet aroma, and its similarity to Sandalwood.
Notes
A sweetly refreshing blend of Lemon Blossom, Pear and Sweet Pea immediately creates a playfulness that lifts the spirit. Amyris and Iris Oils blend in a marriage of earthy sweetness. A Musky Amber Accord adds a subtle warmth.
