Bracken Man is a woody, fresh spicy, aromatic scent created for Men as part of the Midnight Flowers Collection by perfumers Olivier Cresp and Fabrice Pellegrin.
Review
This scent is earthy and fresh. The Bracken Fern sits at the heart of this scent, surrounded with Citruses, Clove, Cypress and Patchouli that create a modern Fougere with a retro vibe. It can be worn to the office, and to any casual or formal occasion, and works well in any season. It is comparable to Creed’s Bois du Portugal. Try this sample and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Bracken Man takes inspiration from the bohemian culture of the 60’s and 70’s. It pays homage to the earthy character of the free spirited traveler.
Notes
Refreshing notes of Lemon and Bergamot blend with crisp Cypress and aromatic Lavender, and are slowly infused with the spicy essences of Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Clove. A touch of earthy/floral Geranium blends with a woody melange of Cedarwood and Sandalwood. Patchouli creates a soft punch that enhances the wood notes above it, which settles in nicely with a touch of Musk.
