This scent boasts a delicate blend that leans feminine. Soft fruits and flowers boost the sweetness of the Iris before being lifted with Musk and Tonka. What you get is an impossibly beautiful, elegant, sophisticated scent that will make you feel your best, and something you will want to wear everywhere. It is perfectly suitable for the office, and will work just as well for any casual, formal, intimate, or romantic occasion. Though it will ultimately become close to the skin, it will last. Inspiration
Impossible Iris was born from an obsession with Iris that began after Ramon Monegal created an Iris-based scent for his bride-to-be in 1977. An exquisite, yet temperamental, flower, making an Iris scent that lasts proved to be a task that was near…..impossible!
Notes
A bright blend of Bergamot, Raspberry, and Peach begins this scent on a sweet note. This sweetness lifts the Iris, softening the infamous cosmetic tone that is found with most Iris scents. A floral blend of Ylang-Ylang and Rose join Iris in the heart, furthering the playful essence that is being created. Cedarwood adds a soft earthy quality, bringing this scent back down to earth. Tonka adds another faint layer of sweetness, playing off of the fruit and flower elements, while Musk adds a delicate sultry quality.
