Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie is a woody, floral, warm scent created for Women in 1989. It is a reimagined version of the 1862 creation.
Review
This scent is intoxicatingly beautiful and elegant. It is a perfect blend of Jasmine and Sandalwood with Ambery and Orange nuances that fade in and out. It is a scent that can be worn to the office, but its gentle sensuality makes it much better suited for intimate occasions and non-work activities. It evokes an essence of the golden rays of the setting sun on the skin, champagne in hand, sweet whispers, and knowing glances. It will settle down nicely on the skin and will last. It is comparable to Joop! Femme.
Inspiration
Jasmin Imperatrice Eugenie takes inspiration from the Empress Eugenie of France, wife of Napoleon III. It is warm and strong, elegant and opulent, like the woman who wears it.
Notes
This scent begins with fresh Bergamot blending with rich Tunisian Neroli, Powdery Notes, and crisp Aldehydes. Italian Jasmine, Rose, and Orange Blossom make up an enveloping floral heart. Sandalwood and Amber add warmth with a depth that never becomes too much. Vanilla adds the faintest touch of sweetness that helps everything blend seamlessly. A gentle seduction ensues.
