Living Lalique is a floral, powdery, woody scent created for women in 2015 by perfumer Richard Ibanez.
Review
This scent is a love letter to Iris. More specifically Orris Butter. This creamy scent blends this note with spices, woods, and Vanillic notes, taking it away from that classic cosmetic tone, and giving it a unique elegance. This scent can absolutely be worn to the office, and will boost your boss lady confidence. It can just as easily be worn to brunch with friends, or create a romantic aura for date night. It is suitable for all seasons, and will last all day while remaining intimate on the skin. Some say this scent also has a soft, masculine edge as well. It has been compared to Balmain Ambre Gris, J’ose by Eisenberg, and Dior Homme.
Enjoy this brilliant fragrance with its matching Body Lotion. Add an extra burst of scent when you layer the scent and the lotion, and keep your skin supple and moisturized at the same time!
Inspiration
Living Lalique takes inspiration from the “Carnette Fleur” Art Nouveau-style bottle created by Rene Lalique in 1911. It is adorned with Golden Swallows, paying homage to the use of the elegant Swallow that is the emblem of the Maison Lalique.
Notes
Fresh Bergamot softens the sharpness of Black Pepper and tames a note of Nutmeg. This soft spice thread adds a punch to creamy Orris Butter in the heart. Vanilla and Tonka Bean add a calm sweetness that never becomes cloying as it blends with the warmth of the base. Vetiver adds a light earthiness as Sandalwood and Cashmere Wood blend to bring a velvety woody essence that plays well with every aspect of this scent.
Top notes: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Nutmeg
Middle notes: Orris Butter, Vanilla, Tonka Bean
Base notes: Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cashmere Wood
