Review
While this scent is dark and woody, it is elegant and refined. It never becomes too intense, and is perfect for the lovers of Sandalwood. It can be worn to the office, if applied lightly, and will work for any formal occasion or casual moment when you want to feel your best. It is suitable for all seasons and will last on the skin. It has been compared to Cuir Garamante by MDCI Parfums, and a darker, woodier version of Creed’s Original Santal.

Oud Santal is a fascinating blend of woods that mirrors the scents of the East…the warm and inviting aromas of the Souk markets, and the starry nights of the desert lands.
Notes
A blend of spices opens this scent with Syrax, Cumin, and Clary Sage. A note of creamy Sandalwood sits at the top of this composition, followed by Mysore Sandalwood Absolute in the heart, creating a delicate woody essence that floats throughout the drydown. Jasmine Absolute and Iris Absolute follow the Sandalwood, lightening some of the darkness in the base. A note of Burmese Oud comes in at the end, heightening the Sandalwood notes without overpowering. Vanilla Absolute brightens the floral essences, and adds a soft sweetness to this scent. Grey Musk and Ebony Wood help to keep the wood essence thriving and helps with longevity.
