Portrayal Woman is a floral, Tobacco, Vanilla scent created for Women in 2019 by perfumer Annick Menardo.
Review
This scent is sultry and sweet. It conjures images of women in flapper dresses, doused in Vanilla and Jasmine perfumes, smoking cigarettes in their iconic cigarette holders. No cares are given; these nights are filled with fun and ‘come hither’ looks form across the room.
Portrayal Woman can be worn in all seasons, but is best suited for cooler weather. It can be worn in the office if sprayed sparingly, but is best suited for moments when you want all eyes on you. It has been compared to Tom Ford's Jasmin Rouge and Thierry Mugler Alien. Try this sample and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Portrayal Woman is a proud and playful tribute to the liberated sensuality of women in the 1920’s. It is the image of sumptuous bygone luxury, created for the poised and playfully refined woman who dares to defy.
Notes
Simplicity abounds with this scent. Jasmine becomes infused with Craven A Tobacco and creamy Vanilla, creating an undertone that is reminiscent of the sensual tone of Tuberose. An earthy warmth is created with Elemi Resinoid in the base, which plays with the Tobacco note above it.
