Upper Class is a sweet, fruity, woody scent created for Men in 2016 by perfumer Antonio Visconti.
Review
While this scent was created for Men, it can easily be worn by Women as well. The mix of Raspberry and Iris keeps this scent light and slightly sweet, while a blend of darker notes add a warmth and splendor that will have everyone falling in love with it! It is very suitable for an office setting, as well as any formal or casual occasion where you want to smell, and feel, your best. It will work in all seasons, though its lightness seems best suited for Spring and Summer weather, and will be long lasting while remaining light and intimate. Try this sample and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Upper Class is inspired by Cary Grant and his charm, elegance, and subtle irony. It is a scent for the refined man who has a natural penchant for attracting those around him.
Notes
A refreshing note of Raspberry can be felt immediately, blending rapidly with Florentine Iris and Cedarwood in the heart. A Leather note at the top makes its presence known, but never becomes sharp, and never overpowers or overstays its welcome. The Burmese Oud stays mostly in the background of this scent, helping the Cedar note to thrive as it dries into the base notes. Oakmoss and Grey Amber in the base add a subtle, earthy warmth, while a note of Absolute Vanilla adds a creamy quality, and helps to keep the sweetness in the beginning of this scent to linger in just the right way. Notes of Labdanum and Myrrh, which you would expect to add a dark nuance to this scent, remain quiet and muted. While these notes may play differently on everyone’s skin, this scent tends to remain light and sweet with the darker nuances poking through softly.
Top Notes: Leather, Coriander, Raspberry, Pink Pepper
Heart Notes: Cedarwood, Burmese Oud, Iris Florentina, Oman Gold Frankincense
Base Notes: Oakmoss, Absolute Vanilla, Grey Amber, Labdanum, Myrrh
