Un Air de Paris Spicy is a spicy, aromatic, woody scent created for Men and Women in 2011 by perfumer Nejla Barbir.
Review
This scent is fresh, yet spicy, with a dry element to it. The herbaceous blend of Basil, Bay, and Thyme stands out against Castoreum and a hint of Geranium, making it almost lean Green in style. It holds a sense of power, commanding respect for the wearer. It can be worn in an office setting, if applied with enough time for it to dry down, and will work for any casual or formal occasion outside of the workplace. It is a great scent to wear in cooler weather, and has the perfect vibe for Fall. It is a scent that will have all eyes pulling in your directions. It is similar to scents along the lines of Nishane Suede Et Safran, Memo African Leather, and Lubin Paris Galaad. Try this sample and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Un Air de Paris Spicy is a tumultuous game of the sexes. It started as a scent made for women, with the power of the masculine spice blend. Who will wear it better?
Notes
Bay can be felt immediately and stays just under the surface as this scent dries down. It can be found in the opening, alongside Basil, and in the heart, alongside Thyme and Geranium. Castoreum comes in at the base, adding a temporary intensity with its animalistic nuances, before mellowing into the crisp woodiness of Birch.
Top Notes: Basil, Bay, Nutmeg, Orange
Heart Notes: Bay, Geranium, Thyme
Base Notes: Castoreum, Birch
