This scent opens with a fresh and aromatic aroma. It has a typical masculine cologne vibe with the Citruses, Lavender and Patchouli, but with a hint of a sweeter essence from the Vanilla Accord. The Lavender stands out nicely, likely boosted by the citrus essences. As things begin to try, the Labdanum and Amber come in from the base adding a warm, but mellow, Leathery Amber aroma. These notes give the scent depth without being too intense. There is almost an earthy quality to this scent, but not quite. Something about it conjures the image of being in a field of Lavender and Citrus Trees at dusk on a warm evening. The type of warm evening where it feels like you can taste the heat in the air. You’ve spent the day swimming and hiking, and you’re feeling invigorated and appreciative of all the good things in life. In the end, it develops into a Lavender, Leather, Musky scent with a clean, citrusy, almost soapy leaning essence. It has an airy and everyday casual vibe to it. Because of the subtle warmth, it has a touch of maturity to it as well. It is a scent that can be worn any time, place or occasion, and in any season. It sits a little closer to the skin, but will last in its Extrait format. It’s reminiscent of a cross between Aleksandr and L’Etrog from Arquiste.
Inspiration
Rubis Imperial is inspired by Summers spent on the French Riviera. Days by the sea, afternoons in the fields and citrus groves, when time slows down and you can appreciate the beauty around you.

This scent opens with Lavender and Patchouli brightened with Lemon, Bergamot and a Citrus Accord. It has a typically masculine cologne aroma to it, but with a hint of sweetness from a Vanilla Accord. As things begin to settle, Labdanum Absolute and Amber combine to add a Leathery Amber aroma, which gives everything depth. Musk finishes this scent with an airy, yet dark, quality. In the end, this feels like a warm and aromatic, Musky, Leather, Citrus scent.Â
