Review
This scent is comforting and sweet. It’s fruity and floral with citruses, Mango, and Plum blended with Pink Lotus Blossom. But it’s also grounded with resinous Styrax and earthy Patchouli, and a hint of sensuality from White Musk, but never becomes too rich. The subtle sweetness lasts through it all. It has a subtlety to it that is inviting. You can almost get a rubbery quality to it, but also an almost candy-like essence. While it is a universal scent that absolutely anyone can wear, it has a very subtle feminine lean to it. You can imagine that this scent is what the pro tennis player’s wife is wearing to watch her husband play. It’s casual and playful, and can be worn any time, place or occasion, and will work in most any weather. It has a lightness to it that will make it sit close to the skin, but it will last. It has been compared to Afnan’s Mystique Bouquet, and shares similarities with Parfums de Marly Valaya.
Inspiration
Torino 24 takes inspiration from the friendly atmosphere of an indoor tennis match, being more calm and collected than the excitement of the outdoor matches.
Notes
You can immediately smell the blend of Mango and Plum upon first spray of this scent. Bergamot and Mandarin add a brightness that invigorates the juiciness of the fruits, creating a pleasant aroma. Orange Blossom and Pink Lotus Blossom add a floral element to the heart of this scent, and when blended with the fruits, creates a creamy floral essence that is almost candy-like. Taffy-like even. But this is subtle. Resinous Styrax and earthy Patchouli bring a gentle warmth to everything, helping with longevity and depth, and White Musk brings a subtle sultry quality. The combination is heavenly.
