Sugar Blast is a Vanilla, Amber, Gourmand scent created for Men and Women in 2025 by perfumer Sophie Labbe.
Review
This scent is sweet and comforting, with a hint of something sensual. It opens up with an aroma similar to something along the lines of a Vanilla Brown Sugar scent. As it unfolds, it is kind of reminiscent of cookies, or baking, with a sort of nostalgic essence. But then it changes…it becomes seductive. The Rum reveals itself, only slightly, not quite becoming ‘boozy’ in the way that you might think, but adding depth to the sweetness of Vanilla, Praline and Coconut. Something about it is carnal. It creates an intoxicating cloud that feels like someone might lean in for a sniff and get closer than they intended to. This is a seductive gourmand that will have people chasing you down to find out what you’re wearing. After it’s been on the skin for a while, it mellows out and becomes a warm and enveloping Vanilla scent. It is safe enough to wear to the office, but feels much better suited for after hours activities. Its warmth makes it perfect for the Fall and Winter seasons, but it can be worn anytime you feel like it. This is the scent to wear when you want to feel appealing and attractive. It has been compared to Eilish from Billie Eilish.
Inspiration
Sugar Rush is inspired by the joy of nostalgia. Those energetic, child-like feelings of joy and indulgence, but adds a sophisticated twist. It is a balance of yesterday’s sweet memories and today’s sensual confidence.
Notes
This scent opens with a warm and sweet blend of Vanilla, Praline, Coconut and Cashmeran. It is smooth and buttery and nostalgic. As things blend and dry, the Rum reveals itself. It doesn’t fully go into the boozy territory, but adds depth and sensuality. Ambroxan deepens the warmth, turning this scent from something nostalgic to something carnal and intoxicating. You can’t really feel the Lavender, but if you are familiar with it, you can tell it adds a subtle aromatic quality to the overall vibe of the scent.
