Review
This scent segues seamlessly between bright and luminous, and dark and sultry. Fig and Salt bring a light fun quality, while woods and Vanilla add a soft sultriness, all surrounding a delicate floral heart. It can be worn to the office, but seems best suited for casual, cozy, and intimate occasions, and can be worn in any season. It is comparable to L’Arbre de la Connaissance from Jovoy Paris.

Castling is a move in Chess where multiple actions are done in one move, and the only time 2 pieces can be moved at the same time. It is a move of protection and action. This scent defies expectations with its unique balance of sweet and salty, and light and dark.
Notes
This scent is a perfect harmony of its notes. Fig, Bergamot, and Fleur del Sel blend with a soft floral heart of Iris, Freesia, and Lotus Flower, and you are transported to a Mediterranean paradise. The sugary essence of Vanilla Woods plays off of the flowers and brightens the warmth of the Musk that follows closely behind. Madagascan Vetiver and East Asian Sandalwood add a delicate balance of depth, earthiness, and longevity, while never overtaking the lighter essences.
