Ani X is immediately sweet and refreshing. The addition of fruits and citruses give the composition an almost bubblegum sweetness that creates a playful energy. You feel carefree and light. Over time, the Amber and Vanilla come in, adding a gentle warmth that keeps the lightness going. Where Ani is cool and collected with a flirty side, Ani X is bursting with energy and ready for the next adventure. It is a scent that can be worn to the office, but definitely has a casual nature to it, and can be worn any time, place, or occasion. It can be worn in any season, but feels best suited for Spring and Fall. It is comparable to Parfums de Marly Greenley with a touch of Safanad.
Inspiration
Ani X is part of the X Collection, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of Nishane. It is inspired by the idea of rebuilding after you fall, and the idea that even ruins can defy time. The additions of juicy citruses and fruits create an energy that will keep you going.
Notes
A bright and refreshing opening is in thanks to a blend of Bergamot, Lemon, Melon, and Ginger. Pink Pepper and Cardamom add a bit of depth as Watery Notes keep things light. In the Heart, Green Apple thrives next to the sweetness of Blackcurrant, adding a boost to the opening notes. Lavender and Sage add a gentle earthy touch, that helps to keep the sweetness lasting. Amber and Vanilla come in at the base, adding a sweet warmth that pairs well with the overall sweetness of this scent, recalling the vibe of the original Ani. A woody blend of Cedarwood, Cashmere Wood, and Sandalwood are given a sultry quality with White Musk, adding to the depth and longevity, without taking away from the lightness of this scent.
