This scent is unique. When you see ‘Sakura’ you think ‘Cherry Blossoms’. While Cherry Blossom lies in the heart of this scent, there is much more going on here. Things start off with a Green vibe with Green Notes, Pink Pepper and Citrus blending with the Cherry Blossom. Things then begin to become creamy, sweet, and warm with Amber, Sandalwood, Vanilla, and Tonka Bean. Everything blends so well that you get something different each time you take another whiff. There is so much complexity, yet so much simplicity. It is a soft whisper of elegance….somewhat fleeting, like the blossoms on the Cherry Trees. There is a potency in this scent that has the potential to last all day, but can last for only a few hours on some. While it does lean sweet, anyone can wear this scent. It is suitable for all seasons, and will work well in any setting. It has been compared to a more elegant and refined Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, and has a vibe that feels like a blend of Amouage Blossom Love and Parfums de Marly Delina.
Inspiration
Sakura takes inspiration from Sakura season in Japan, and the tradition of Hanami (“Flower Viewing”). It symbolizes taking a moment of reflection and taking in the beauty of the world around you.
Notes
This scent opens with Green Notes blending with the gentle spiciness of Pink Pepper, which is tempered gently with a citrus blend of Bergamot, Lime, and Mandarin. Coriander Seed adds an Almond-like creamy, nuttiness that pairs well with the Cherry Blossom note in the heart. Water Lilies, Osmanthus, Rose, Freesia, Cyclamen, and Violet make up the heart of this scent, adding a gentle floral component to the composition.
