Review
This scent is rich and earthy, and truly embodies its name. It is a scent that is perfect for lovers of nature and dirt and all that encompasses an Autumn feeling. It can be worn to the office if applied lightly, and works best for cold weather and evening occasions. This scent is one of a kind, without much to compare to. Inspiration
Black Monsoon Attar takes inspiration from the monsoon season in India, which generally takes place from June to September each year. It embodies the scents of the dry earth becoming saturated and full, creating that slightly Vanillic aroma of petrichor. The vegetation and flowers drinking in lifewater and blooming and releasing their precious scents. This is the scent of Mother Earth on the skin.
Notes
Darker notes of Black Spruce, Black Musk, and Myrrh reveal themselves first, creating an earthy essence. The sweeter qualities of Vanilla and Tonka Bean Absolutes join in and create a whirlwind of sweet and dark, reminiscent of the heavy winds of a monsoon. Black Currant and Bergamot add a lightness, tinged with spicy Cardamom. This unique blend creates a complex scent.
