Vespers Attar is an earthy, floral, spicy scent created in 2019 by local Seattle perfumer Sundar Rayhan.
Review
This scent brings a sense of calm with its earthy and spicy qualities. Sandalwood and Patchouli blend with floral essences and you can imagine yourself in a forest come to life. It can be worn to the office if applied sparingly, and works best for the Fall, Winter and early Spring season. It is a great scent for any formal or casual occasion. It is comparable to Navitus Lautus. Try this attar and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Vespers Attar takes inspiration from the Latin term “Vespers”, meaning “Evening Prayer”.
It inspires a moment of calm. As the sun sets, you can smell the incense burning as people make their way to evening service. The Divine Liturgy is about to begin.
Notes
The world around you is filled with fragrance, always intoxicating the senses. On a quiet evening you enjoy a calm moment. A light breeze brings to you the fresh essences of the earth and trees around you and you are enveloped within Patchouli, Agarwood, Sandalwood, and Vetiver. The breeze twists and turns and brings you the scents of a flower filled field nearby. Geranium, Rose, Jasmine, and Ylang Ylang now surround you. As you walk on, you come upon a crowd gathering for evening mass and the breeze brings you the scents of incense and spices that welcomes all. This moment grounds you and you ready yourself to join the others.
