Parfumerie Nasreen

With this new Parfumerie Nasreen Attar Collection, I wanted to create a line of scents that were natural, pure, organic and non-synthetic. An attar also known as ittar, is a natural perfume oil derived from different botanical sources. Not found regularly in the U.S., I thought they would be a perfect fit for Parfumerie Nasreen, and a piece of India, and myself, that I could bring to the store and to you.

On a recent visit back home, I visited a family of local oil producers and was impressed with their selection. I worked with these people to create for me a few attar oils that was a combination of a feel of the east without being too much for people who are unfamiliar with this type of fragrance.

I also worked with a Inde Perfumer who, lives here in the Seattle area, to compose a few oils as well. Sundar has familiarized himself with the Indian culture, has a passion for fragrances and oils, and has taught himself to make these pure oil blends.
