Godolphin is an aromatic, spicy scent created for Men in 2010 by perfumer Michele Saramito.
Review
This scent is almost Leathery with its blend of spices, flowers, and soft woods. Its spice infusion, with Saffron the star of the show, strikes the senses and captures the attention of both the wearer and those nearby. Its intimacy makes it wearable in an office setting, as well as any formal occasion, or for a romantic evening. It is the scent to wear when you want to make an impression. It is wearable in all seasons and will last while remaining close to the skin. It is comparable to Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather.
Inspiration
Godolphin is a complex and deep scent for the distinguished man.
Notes
Saffron comes in bright and glowing. Thyme and Cypress help to give the opening of this scent a Leathery nuance. A floral heart of Rose, Iris, and Jasmine adds just the right amount of temperance, creating a smooth quality without dampening any of the complexity. A warm base of Vetiver, White Cedarwood, and Musk is given a velvety quality with a touch of Amber and Vanilla.
