Review
This scent is rich, sweet and spicy. You get the Coffee and Bourbon notes immediately, paired with the Dried Fruits. Saffron adds an almost aromatic spicy essence to the scent and a note of Charred Oak Barrels adds an interesting woody essence that pairs well with the Bourbon. It has an aroma like a smooth and fruity liquor infused with Coffee Beans, or a seductively rich cake infused with Coffee and Liquor. Something in the depth of this scent gives a hint of a Chocolatey essence that is incredibly tempting. Perhaps it is the blend of Praline, Fruits, Tonka and Amber. This scent is warm, sweet, inviting and seductive. It is an interesting type of Gourmand scent that will strike your senses like nothing else. It is a scent that can be worn in an office setting, and will work great for almost any time, place or occasion, but its richness gives it an elegant and seductive essence that doesn’t quite feel casual. It will work well in the Fall, Winter and Spring months and will last on the skin. Notes
This scent seems to open from the base up, and then goes back down. Upon first sniff, you get the Coffee and Bourbon notes blended with the Dried Fruits. Next comes the Saffron, adding an almost fresh essence within the spiciness. This is boosted further with a note of Leather. The Charred Oak Barrels adds a soft woodiness that intensifies the boozy quality of the Bourbon. As all of this richness begins to settle, the Dried Fruits blends with the Praline, Tonka and Ambroxan from the heart, creating an essence like Chocolate Cake infused with Coffee and Bourbon. A note of Petrichor comes in at the end, adding to the earthy, woody nuance of the Charred Oak Barrel note. It never becomes ‘woody’, but intensifies the richness of the scent.Â
