Visionary is an aromatic, earthy, Vetiver scent created for Men and Women in 2024 by perfumer Michael Foerster.
Review
This scent is fresh and invigorating. An aromatic blend of Citruses and Herbs is combined with the earthy qualities of Patchouli and Moss, and a touch of sweetness from Tonka Bean. It is fresh and earthy with a very slight resinous quality from the Vetiver and the Benzoin. It conjures an image of being in a field, the tall grass blowing gently in the breeze, similar to the ocean waves. The sky is overcast, and the ozonic elements in the air add a gentle sweetness to your surroundings. It is a slightly muted scent, but has a well-rounded quality that will make it last. It is a scent that can be worn almost any time, place or occasion, but does have a slightly casual vibe to it. There is a subtle similarity to Vetiver Pour Homme from Roja.
Inspiration
Visionary’s bottle is adorned with the Eagle, a symbol of strength and freedom. The scent was created for the individuals who dare to dream and to act.
Notes
This scent starts off bright and fresh with Bergamot, quickly becoming aromatic with the herbal notes of Rosemary and Tarragon. Petitgrain keeps the freshness lingering as Patchouli and Moss add an aromatic earthiness. Vetiver deepens the earthiness, while adding a gentle resinous quality when paired with Benzoin. A touch of sweetness from Tonka Bean cuts through too much sharpness setting in, but never becomes too sweet.
