Overture Man is a Smoky, Woody, Spicy scent created for Men in 2019 by perfumer Karine Vinchon Spehner.

Review

This scent is for the ever confident gentleman who holds an air of mystery about him. He is debonair and carefree. An intoxicating blend of Cognac, spices and Leather make this scent perfect for formal occasions, date night, or for that important meeting when you want to make an impression. Can be worn at the office if sprayed sparingly. Works best in Fall and Winter, as the composition becomes smoky as it dries down, creating great longevity. It is comparable to John Varvatos Dark Rebel.

Inspiration

Overture Man is inspired by Man’s solitude in the world. It is an operatic portrayal of the mysterious nature of a man’s inner essence.

Notes

Fresh Grapefruit sits atop a spice melange of Cardamom, Cumin, Ginger, Nutmeg, and Saffron. A Cognac Accord blends with Cinnamon and Benzoin and the smoky nuances of Myrrh and Labdanum. A slow warmth approaches with Patchouli and Sandalwood blended with an Animalic Accord and the resinous tones of Leather, and Incense. A crisp note of Clary Sage rounds out this luminous scent that will capture the attention of all in its path.
