Moro di Venezia is a fruity, floral, aromatic scent created for Men and Women in 2018 by perfumer Paolo Terenzi.
Review
This scent is sweet, bright, sultry, and warm all at once. Pineapple stands out amongst the fruity opening, followed closely with Jasmine, Amber, and Musk. It holds an aquatic vibe without going too sweet or too sharp. It can be worn any time, place, or occasion you choose, but will work best for informal settings, and can be worn in any season. It maintains an intimate feeling with lasting longevity. It is comparable to Bvlgari Omnia Parabia, and holds a similarity to Issey Miyaki L’Eau d’Issey Pour Femme.
Inspiration
Moro di Venezia captures the exoticism of Venice, known as the ‘City of the Sea’, and the breezy chic of Venetian aristocracy. Meaning ‘Moor of Venice’, it represents the turbulent love story of Othello, creating an essence both foreign and familiar.
Notes
Pineapple can be felt immediately within a bright mix of Grapefruit, Bergamot, and Black Currant. A soft floral bouquet of Violet, Lily of the Valley, and Jasmine is warm with Amber. Oak and Japanese Hinoki woods add depth and brighten the Musk note, and a touch of Vanilla keeps the fruits thriving.
