Review
This scent is unique with its citrus notes blending with soft flowers, most notably Mimosa, above a woody base. It is refreshing, yet earthy, with a refined essence. It is safe enough for the office, but is much better suited for brunches, lunch dates, afternoon strolls by the water, and cocktails with friends. Though it has an intimate warmth to it, it will work well in all seasons. It has been compared to Eden by Cacharel and Tacit by Aesop.
Inspiration
Magnetic Wood is earthy and refreshing, energizing the senses like the sun coaxing the morning blossoms to open.
Notes
This scent is an interesting one….each note blends into the next, creating a sense of confusion. As it dries, you begin to pick out the transitions. Green Mandarin and Bergamot open this scent with a freshness that soon gives way to a floral heart. Mimosa stands out within a floral bouquet of Osmanthus, Daffodil, and Iris, adding a soft sweetness. Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Guaiac Wood make up the base of this scent, adding their woody, earthy nuances to a scent that maintains its lightness, like the last rays of sunshine on a summer day.
