Number One Intense is an aromatic, green floral scent created for Women in the 1980’s by perfumer Patricia de Nicolai.
Review
This scent is a Tuberose bomb. Jasmine follows closely behind, and both are boosted with a lush floral bouquet. It is ultra feminine with both a casual and elegant vibe. Its composition is reminiscent of the vivacious floral scents that ruled the world in the 1980’s. It can be worn in an office setting as easily as it can be worn for a wild night out on the town, and anything in between. It is suitable for all occasions and all seasons, and will intoxicate your senses and the senses of those around you. It is comparable to scents like Tubereuse Imperiale from BDK Parfums, Kiss My Name from Ramon Monegal, and Sedbury from Parfums de Marly.
Inspiration
Number One Intense is a powerhouse floral scent with Tuberose at its heart. It is inspired by the larger-than-life vibe of the 1980’s, fitting right in with the bombastic floral fragrances of the time.
Number One Intense won Patricia the prestigious international award for best young perfumer.
Notes
Tuberose lives in the heart of this scent, but can be felt immediately in the opening and thrives all the way through to the end. Jasmine follows close behind, and both are lifted with a lush floral bouquet of Ylang Ylang, Orange Flower, Iris Butter, and Rose Absolute and Essence. The opening comes back around, bringing a green essence with Acacia and earthy Galbanum. Bergamot adds a fresh essence that keeps everything smelling like a blooming bouquet. Oakmoss and Musk add to the earthy, green essence, while a final note of Sandalwood adds a gentle depth that helps with longevity.
