Oud Abramad is a spicy, woody, Oud scent created in 2016 by perfumer Mathilde Bijaoui.
Review
This scent is dry and woody. The spices, Incense and Patchouli play against the Oud essences, creating an exotic, oriental intensity. Can be suitable for the workplace if sprayed sparingly, but is best suited for cold weather and evening occasions. It is comparable to Maison Martin Margiela Across Sands.
Inspiration
Oud Abramad is inspired by Prince Abramad and his desert palace. The heart of the day is captured within the stone and marble. Moving shadows in the night captivate the imagination.
Notes
Saffron and Ginger add a lightness to this scent that seems to come and go. A mix and Agarwood and Guaiac Wood mingles with Turkish Rose as a dry blend of Patchouli and Incense sets in, creating a refined intensity. A spicy thread of Castoreum and Orcanox(a form of White Amber) adds to the warmth and solidifies the longevity of this scent.
