Alexandria II is a woody, Ambery, powdery scent created in 2012 by perfumer Chris Maurice.
Review
This scent takes turns being soft and beautiful and then slightly animalistic. It has great longevity and will last for hours. It works well for any season, and most occasions. This scent has been compared to Roja Parfums Creation-E(Enigma) Parfum Cologne and has subtle similarities to Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir.
Inspiration
Alexandria II comes from the Oud Stars Collection, which is dedicated to the art and tradition of Arab perfume making. The name of each scent within this collection is linked to the ancient “Travel of Ibn Buttuta” manuscript.
Notes
Lush Apple, spicy Cinnamon, effervescent Lavender and soft Rose Wood intrigue your senses and create the calm before the storm. A push and pull between light and dark begins with a soft floral bouquet that lingers through a soft punch of Laotian Oud. The swell continues with warm Amber and Sandalwood, followed closely by sweet Vanilla and a touch of sultry Musk.
Top Notes: Apple, Cinnamon, Rose Wood Lavender
