Anood Scents is one of the newest collections available at Parfumerie Nasreen.

These are fragrances created in New York, and inspired by the life and culture of the creator’s home of Bahrain.

Deep Dive 1 was inspired by Bahrain’s Oyster/Pearl divers. It captures a fresh and earthy, marine, beachy essence with Citruses, a Marine Accord, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Suede. It has an essence of salty, sun-kissed skin after a day spent in the ocean.

Sunny 7 was inspired by childhood memories of Summers spent at a grandparent’s house, where things can seem a little more magical. Cotton Candy, Pistachio, Jasmine, Tuberose, Milk and Sandalwood create a scent that is sweet, salty and a little nutty, with a Solar essence that captures the magic of carefree Summer days.

Thorny 6 was inspired by the Arabian tradition of Ta’Teer, or Tabkheer, a ritual where brides are wafted with Bakhoor Incense, symbolizing purification, blessings and warding off negative energy. Frankincense and Oud are paired with Bulgarian Rose, creating an intensely bold and smoky scent. Over time, Vetiver and Raspberry reveal themselves, toning things down and helping the scent to evolve into a beautiful smoky, floral aroma.
