Amouage has been releasing fragrances since 1983, and most of them were released two at a time as a women’s and men’s version of one scent.

Once upon a time, the Amouage fragrances had a concept behind each release that fit the name of the fragrances. Reflection Man and Woman were inspired by the idea of capturing the contrasting facets of the inner and outer self. The reflection of oneself in the fragrance. Or, oneself being released through a fragrance. 

This idea goes along with the concept that a fragrance can boost your mood, your confidence, it can release your inner self. 

Lucas Sieuzac is the perfumer behind Reflection Man, and created it to embody the refined man who is confident and at peace with his inner self.

Maurice Roucel is the perfumer behind Reflection Woman, and created it to embody the sophisticated woman with a depth and sense of tranquility beneath her inner self.
