Atlantide is a scent that comes from the Tiziana Terenzi Sea Stars Collection.

The Sea Stars Collection are fragrances, and spectacular bottles, created by Tiziana Terenzi as a 50th birthday gift to her brother Paolo Terenzi, the perfumer for the brand.

Tiziana and Paolo grew up with a love of sailing and passion for the sea. The collection was inspired by this irresistible passion, and the sea’s glorious stars.

Atlantide is the shining star of the collection. It was inspired by the lost city of Atlantis, first mentioned by Plato in Timaeus (17-27) and Critias, in the Fourth Century BC.

Atlantis famously sank into the sea in a single day, disappearing forever, and has been a mysterious call to many today.

Atlantide expresses the mystery and splendor of this lost city and the sea that took it.

Metaphorically, Atlantide is also a journey to discovery of the hidden depths within each of us, playing with the idea that scent can bring out something from inside of us.

The main component of Atlantide is Tuberose. The exotic and sensual elements of it add depth to a blend of Passion Fruit, Cassis and Red Berries. An additional layer of Tuberose is paired with Narcissus, Orris and Orange Blossom, boosting the floral intensity of the scent. Musk, Benzoin and Amber bring a warm depth that keeps things lasting.

Heart Notes: Cassis, Red Berry, Narcissus, Orris, Orange Blossom, Tuberose

While there is an almost petally element to the floral essence, you can get a vibe of the Indolic essence that Tuberose can release. This is an ever-so-slightly ‘dirty’ essence that is a little bitter and earthy, but still very floral and intoxicating. It makes the scent feel rich and opulent.
