What Is Pink Pepper?
What is Pink Pepper? It’s actually a berry, not a pepper. It comes from the Pepper Tree, which is found in Peru and Brazil.
Pink Pepper has a sweet and sparkly essence to it and can add a little bit of a fruity and/or floral tone to a scent, but is, just in general, a note that adds a brightness to a fragrance. Whether it’s found in a scent that’s fruity, floral, citrus, or something more intense and woody, it essentially adds an overall vibrancy and fizzy energy.
Because of its fresh and zesty essence, it’s usually found within the top notes, but can be found in any layer of the scent it’s in.
You can find Pink Pepper in fragrances like Blockade and Caissa from Mind Games, Elysium Pour Homme from Roja, Rouge Smoking Extrait from BDK Parfums, Absolue d’Osmanthe from Perris Monte Carlo, Atomic Rose from Initio Parfums and so many more!
It’s definitely something that you should not be avoiding simply because you don’t like Pepper in your fragrance. That invigorating, zesty essence it has is something you will likely enjoy no matter your scent style.
