Belvedere is a warm, sweet, boozy scent created for Men and Women in 2025.
Review
This scent is warm and boozy with threads of sweetness. You can immediately smell the warmth of the Honey and Rum, the sweetness from the Caramel and Vanilla, the depth of Patchouli. It begins warm and almost bitter with touches of sweetness, and dries down a little sweeter with the darkness in the background. It’s a well-rounded, smooth, elegant scent with a lasting, but mellow quality to it. You can almost imagine Albert and Annicke in quiet conversation in high-backed Leather chairs near a large fireplace, Rum cocktails in hand. The warmth and gentle intensity make it feel perfect for Fall and Winter, but it could also be worn during the Spring season. It feels opulent and almost formal, but also casually elegant. It can be worn in an office setting if given some time to try down. It starts off smelling fairly similar to Xerjoff Naxos, and then kind of like Mind Games Mentor, but then dries down to its own little piece of sweet, warm, boozy heaven. TRY THIS SAMPLE AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!
Inspiration
Belvedere was another fragrance inspired by Albert Fouquet’s infatuation with his great love, Annicke. Their moments of dancing, the conversation, sitting in front of the fireplace on that cold Winter night in Megeve, and their meetings at the Belvedere Palace in Vienna.
Notes
You can smell the Rum immediately upon first spray of this scent. Honey and Amber come in fairly quickly after, adding a smoothness of the Rum note. Vanilla boosts the Caramel note, but neither becomes too much of itself. Bergamot adds a gentle brightness to the overall feel of the scent, but is not really detectable. Patchouli adds depth and warmth that boosts the Honey and Rum, but also boosts the Caramel note, almost giving it a creamy essence. Everything eventually begins to mellow and flow effortlessly. You can smell each note shining then blending into the next, creating an intoxicating dance of warmth and sweetness. It feels sweet and boozy and smooth.
