Il Giardino Dell’Anima is a warm, floral, Gourmand scent created for Men and Women in 2025.
Review
This fragrance is warm and floral. At first, the Pistachio note almost smells chocolatey, maybe due to the Mandarin, but eventually develops its usual salty, nutty aroma, becoming almost creamy at times. You can smell the Jasmine under the surface, and it definitely creates the overall floral tone of the scent, but is tempered by the Pistachio and brings a sense of depth and warmth. It’s not quite indolic, but almost. The Mandarin briefly adds a sparkling citrus tone, but mostly just keeps things bright. The scent doesn’t feel as Gourmand or playdoh-like as some Pistachio scents can, but you can definitely smell it in the mix. Overall, it’s a warm, floral, nutty scent that is elegantly playful with a small dose of seduction. It feels like a scent you would wear to an evening concert in a garden on a warm Summer evening. While it has the faintest hint of femininity to it, it was created as a universal fragrance and can truly be worn by anyone. It will work any time, place, or occasion, and in any weather. It has a faint similarity to the style of Michel Germain’s Orange Blossom Garden & French Vanilla. TRY THIS SAMPLE AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!
Inspiration
Il Giardino Dell’Anima(The Garden of the Soul) was inspired by the gardens of Ravello on Italy’s Amalfi coast. Albert Fouquet stayed a few days in Ravello each year, and after an open air concert in the gardens, he was immediately inspired to create a fragrance that captured the sense of wonder he felt during this magical evening.
Notes
A blend of Mandarin and Pistachio can be felt immediately upon the opening of this scent, creating an almost Chocolatey aroma. Once this Chocolate essence fades, you can smell the salty, nuttiness of the Pistachio. The Mandarin adds a subtle, juicy brightness, which fades into the Jasmine. As the Jasmine unfolds, it smells like thick, creamy petals caressing the skin. But this is brief. As the Jasmine blends with the Pistachio, it creates a warmth that is almost seductive. The Mandarin continues to keep things bright through to the end, without creating a sparkly quality. It is a somewhat creamy, warm, floral scent with bright nuances. An Italian garden party on the skin was achieved here.
