Dama Bianca is a Vanilla, Floral, Woody scent created for Women in 2012 by perfumer Chris Maurice.

Review

This scent is immediately a light and airy Vanilla scent. Though they are in the base, Vanilla Beans and a Burnt Malt accord blend with the fruity essence of the Kumquats in the opening. The Orris helps to add a creamy quality to the blend without developing a cosmetic-adjacent aroma. All of the flowers found in the heart of the scent help to keep the Orris boosted, keeping that creamy floral essence lingering in the best way. Sandalwood and Ambrette add the perfect amount of warmth that makes this scent feel comforting and delicate. The soft essence of the scent conjures an image of an ethereal garden where all of the blossoms are tiny little puffs of Vanilla clouds. The scent feels light, fluffy, airy and delicate, comforting and enveloping, and sweet with a very gentle lean into the Gourmand territory. It will have a more intimate vibe on the skin, but will last. It has a vibe that feels perfect for anytime you want something cozy. It is safe for the office, and will work pretty much any time, place or occasion, and in any weather, though its coziness does feel very well suited for chilly weather. While it was technically created as a feminine scent, it is something that anyone can wear who likes Vanilla fragrances. It has been compared to Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 40. Inspiration

Dama Bianca translates to “White Lady” and envisions the dreamy, ethereal ambiance of a blooming floral garden on a pristine day with Vanilla clouds floating by. 

Notes

This scent opens with the Zanzibar Vanilla Beans and a hint of the Burnt Malt accord from the base, mixing with the subtle fruity essence of the Chinese Kumquats and the Florentine Iris adding a subtle creamy quality. The Lime is not really detectable, but helps to add a brightness to the overall vibe. A floral heart is made up of Egyptian Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Violet and Lilac, but never really makes this scent ‘floral’. Indonesian Sandalwood and Ambrette at the perfect warmth that both have their own type of sweetness that blends in perfectly with the Vanilla tone. Cedarwood helps add to the subtle depth of the scent and White Musk helps with the overall wispy, ethereal, airy essence of the scent.
