Review

This scent starts off light and airy with a hint of spice. You can feel the Turkish Rose almost immediately, but it sits quietly under the citrus notes. It blooms a little brighter as the Egyptian Jasmine and Vanilla pair up to lift it. The Wood Accord and Amber create a subtle warmth and depth, but everything remains light. There is an opulence to this scent. It feels rich and regal, but also casually elegant and playful. It conjures an image of a prince or princess who is learning to become a king or queen, but would rather run around in the palace gardens and sneaks off every chance they get. There is a playful energy to this scent. The Rose definitely stands out, but it is a scent that anyone can wear. The dry down is Rose, citrus, warmth with the Wood Accord adding a faint sharpness that feels slightly spicy. It feels complex and simple at the same time. It is a scent that can be worn any time, place or occasion and can be dressed up or down for anything on your calendar. It will work well in any season, and will last on the skin in its Extrait format. It ends up drying down with a style very similar to Parfums de Marly Delina, but with a more earthy essence. Inspiration

Adam takes inspiration from the Rose and its opulent and regal elements. The way it can caress the skin in heavenly ways, both as an aroma and with its velvety soft petals. 

Notes

This scent opens with the Orange and Bergamot tempering the Turkish Rose. You almost can’t tell it’s Rose at first. Slowly the Rose begins to bloom, boosted with Egyptian Jasmine and Madagascan Vanilla. If you’re familiar with Jasmine, you can smell it doing its thing under the surface, but it is not a standout note here. The Vanilla adds a very gentle sweetness that helps to keep things light and airy. The Wood Accord adds the faintest woody essence to the scent, and Amber brings a very subtle warmth. Sweet Musk Intense adds a sensual wisp to the finish of the scent. It remains a light and airy Rose scent with hints of citrus and warmth.
