This scent is not for the faint of heart. It is powerful and slightly medicinal and sharp in its opening. It maintains a boozy, opulent, warm quality with a blend of Cognac, Amber and Oud that slowly softens over time with the added creaminess of Vanilla. This is a scent for the deepest lovers of fragrance, with the patience to wait out the untamed nuances of an interesting scent. It is not quite suitable for the workplace. It boasts great projection and incredible longevity. Its warmth and depth make it best suited for the Fall and Winter months. Inspiration
According to ancient scriptures, the best Agarwood resin was extracted from the Aquilaria Tree. Amber Aquilaria blends this history with the Romans’ noted love of fragrance, and their obsession with collecting only the best oils and resins.
Notes
This scent opens with the fresh nuances of Bergamot, Mandarin, and Peach sprinkled with a hint of Cinnamon. A floral heart of Rose, Jasmine, Neroli, and Geranium enjoy only a moment in the spotlight as a blast of Cognac bursts forth, enveloping all that has come before it. Warm Ambergris, Sandalwood, and resinous Aquilaria Oud joins in the Cognac cloud, creating an opulent sharpness that puts on quite the show. Creamy Vanilla Bourbon adds a subtly sweet nuance that slowly calms the composition.
