This legendary floral fragrance by Cacharel was launched in the year 1978 as the first fragrance from the fashion house. It was a collaboration between perfumers Roger Pellegrino, Robert Gonnon, Paul Leger, and Raymond Chaillain.
It was said to be inspired by Anaitis, or Anahita, the Persian Goddess of Fertility, Water, and Wisdom, and its lush floral bouquet is centered around the White Lily, a symbol of purity.
It was rereleased as Anais Anasi L'Original in 2014, and remains one of the most popular women's floral fragrances.
