Aventus is a fruity, woody, clean scent created for Men in 2010 by perfumer Jean-Christophe Herault.
Review
This scent is refreshing and leans slightly aquatic with its fruit nuances. It is a scent that can be dressed up or down, and will work well in an office setting as easily as it will for any formal or casual occasion anywhere. It can be worn in all seasons, but will wear best in the Spring and Summer months. It has been compared to Club de Nuit Intense Man from Armaf, and shares similarities with Tiziana Terenzi Orion and Nishane Hacivat.
Inspiration
Aventus celebrates the strength, power, and success of influential men throughout history, and the modern man who lives a driven life.
Notes
Pineapple can easily be felt amongst a sweet melange of Apple, Bergamot, and Blackcurrant Leaves. Birch and Patchouli add a gentle woody essence to the feel of this scent, as Jasmine plays well off of the lighter notes, and Pink Berries add a soft spice. Ambergris, Musk, and Oakmoss add a subtle warmth and depth to the base, while a note of Vanilla adds a hint of sweetness that keeps the fruit and citrus from above to thrive longer.
