Bracken Woman is an aromatic, fougere, green scent created for Women as part of the Midnight Flowers Collection in 2016 by perfumers Karine Vinchan-Spehner and Dorothee Piot.
Review
This scent is unique and daring. You can imagine the incredible scents of a forest, carpeted with ferns, coming back to life with the first heavy rain after a drought. It is perfectly safe for the office and especially perfect for the days when you cannot escape into nature. It has been compared to Estee Lauder’s Private Collection, and is reminiscent of Memo’s Italian Leather minus the Vanilla. Try this sample and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Bracken Woman pays homage to the peace and freedom of the 1960’s using symbols of the Flower Power movement, Ferns and Flowers. It gives you the freedom to be different and to stand out from the crowd. The modernity of the composition creates a boho chic vibe.
Notes
A Bracken Fern Accord is the star of the show here. A blend of Wild Berries, mixed with lighter essences of Lily, Narcissus and Chamomile soon become infused with a Smoky Leather Accord. From here the earth comes to life on the skin with woody notes of Patchouli, Vetiver and Birch.
