Eau d’Hadrien is an aromatic, citrus, wood scent created for Men and Women in 1981 by perfumers Annick Goutal and Francis Camail.
Review
This scent is light and supremely refreshing. Comprised almost completely with Citrus notes, crisp Cypress adds depth and a subtle woody essence. This scent can be worn any time or place and for any occasion, and works best in the Spring and Summer season. It may not last you your entire day, but it will invigorate your senses and lift your mood. It is comparable to Petit Matin from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Inspiration
Eau d’Hadrien was the first scent Annick Goutal created after opening her first store, and takes inspiration from her reading ‘Memoirs of Hadrian’ while in Italy. It conjures a loving vision of Tuscany and its sun-drenched, Cypress-lined terraces.
Notes
A melange of Citrus essences awaken your senses with their invigorating freshness. Lemon, Cedrat, Grapefruit, Green Tangerine, and Bergamot blend together and give you energy to take on the day. A subtlety begins with soft Ylang-Ylang while Cypress adds depth and helps the freshness to last as long as possible.
