Review
This is a beachy scent. It feels fresh and airy with Yuzu brightening a note of Ocean Air. The Vetiver adds a subtle grassy essence and the Watery Melon note adds a faint hint of sweetness. It feels like you’re walking along a sandy beach lined with trees and beach grasses. It’s not effervescently fresh, but a mellow and calm kind of fresh. It’s Beach Air fresh. It is a great scent for the Spring and Summer seasons, but can be worn in any season or weather. It has a bit of a casual vibe to it, but can be worn just about any time, place or occasion. It has an intimacy to it, but it will last on the skin. It has a very subtle resemblance to Amouage Beach Hut Man, but much more tame, as well as Arquiste L’etrog Acqua. Ebb & Coast takes inspiration from the perfect beach day. The sea meeting the shore gently, salty sun kissed skin, warm sand, fresh breezy air.
Notes
This scent opens with the brightness of Yuzu and an Ocean Air accord that truly captures beachy air. Pink Pepper helps to boost the Watery Melon note, which remains mellow when paired with the creamy essence of Iris. Vetiver brings its grassy essence to the scent, creating an essence like beach grasses. Vanilla finishes off this scent, not with a sweet essence, but helping to keep things mellow. This scent truly encompasses the essence of the beach.
