Review
This scent is a pleasant citrus, spices, and woods combination. It creates the vibe of sea water misting your face as you sail around a tropical coast. Cocktails at a seaside restaurant as the sun sets. Ocean and beach and vacation aromas fill your senses. This is summer in a bottle.
It is perfectly suitable for the workplace, but is much better suited for casual moments and activities. It could be workable at a semi-formal event as well. It will work in all seasons, but its lightness makes it best for Spring and Summer. It has been compared to Fendi’s Fan di Fendi Pour Homme Acqua, and shares similarities with Creed Millesime Imperial.
Inspiration
Erolfa is a scent that encapsulates memories of the Creed family sailing around the Mediterranean. It has special meaning to the family, with the name EROLFA blending the names of Olivier’s family - ER: his son, Erwin; OL: his daughter, Olivia; FA: his wife, and mother of his children, Fabienne.
Notes
A burst of citruses is sweetened with a hint of Melon, and warmed with the spicy essences of Basil, Cumin, and Rosemary. Ginger and Pepper are joined with the soft floral essences of Jasmine and Cyclamen that temper the composition just enough. A woody warmth comes from Sandalwood, Cedarwood, and Amber in the base. Earthy Moss and sultry Musk add a gentle earthy airiness that plays well with the lighter notes in the opening.
