Fleur Japonais is a floral, woody scent created for Men and Women in 2021 by perfumer Maurice Roucel.
Review
This scent is intriguing and contemplative. Cherry Blossoms blend with Frankincense and woods that conjures an image of sitting in a grove of Cherry Blossom trees. You can smell the Incense burning in the nearby temples as the wind blows through the trees, bringing you a sense of calm and beauty. While this sense encompasses a sense of Springtime, it can be worn in any season. It is suitable for the office, but is even better suited for a day out enjoying the things that bring you happiness. The wood tones help this scent to last throughout the day. It is comparable to Ramon Monegal’s Cherry Musk. Try this sample and let us know what you think!
Inspiration
Inspired by the Cherry Blossoms in Japan, where the Sakura season is a celebration of life.
It is believed that the soul of a Samurai lives in the Sakura, and both are admired for their fleeting lives.
Notes
It is as if Cherry Blossom and Sandalwood trees have been grown in this orchard side by side. Magnolia flowers grow at the base of each tree. Labdanum bushes are scattered around this fragrant field, releasing its own delicate Amber-like scent. Smoky Frankincense lingers in the air from somewhere nearby. You come to this place as often as you can, soaking in its beauty and peacefulness.
