Golden Wood is a woody, aromatic, citrus scent created for Men and Women in 2015 by perfumer Guillaume Flavigny as part of the Yang Collection.
Review
This scent transitions between its intense woodiness and its calming gourmand tones. It moves back and forth, like the branches of a tree in a calm wind. Citruses give way to Guaiac Wood, which gives way to Bees Wax and Tonka Bean……and your senses are taken on an adventure. It can be worn to the office, if applied lightly, but is perfect for days filled with energy and exploring. It will work in all seasons, and will last. It shares similarities with Initio Parfums Prives Oud for Happiness and Hermes Terre d’Hermes.

Notes
The combination of Bees Wax and Tonka Bean can be felt within an opening burst of citruses of Bergamot, Mandarin, and Bitter Orange. Bees Wax comes in at the heart, joining the unique combination of sweet Pear Granita and rich Guaiac Wood. Tonka Bean can be found in the base, adding the sweet nuance of Vanilla, and softening the intensity of the woods. Oak and Cabreuva Wood keep the woody essence of this scent thriving, adding a soft resinous quality, and helping with depth and longevity.
