Review
This scent is immediately warm and exotic. A sense of heat comes from the Vanilla, Amber, and Patchouli, somewhat mimicking the feeling of desire warming the skin. The citrus notes blend with Rose to add a soft brightness, but overall it remains warm and inviting. It is light enough that it can be worn to the office, but is much better suited for date nights, cozy evenings, and anytime you want to capture the attention of that someone special. I will work well in cooler weather, and will last while remaining elegantly subtle. It is comparable to scents like Hypnotizing Fire from The Harmonist and Sultan from Royal Crown.
Inspiration
Hayam Alahasees translates to ‘Feeling Of Love’ and its intricacy, in both look and feel, are reflected in this scent. An Arabian elegance is achieved in the look, and an encompassing warmth is achieved in the scent.
Notes
This scent almost goes in reverse of its pyramid. The sweetness of Vanilla blends with the warmth of Amber and Patchouli. The Powdery Notes add a subtle powdery essence that lies just under the surface, never becoming too powdery as the brightness of Bergamot, Orange, and Ginger set in. Turkish Rose comes in hints throughout the scent, adding a subtle hint of its floral essence that you’re never quite sure if you’re actually smelling. The warmth lasts as everything blends seamlessly.
