Herod is a warm, spicy, sweet scent created for Men in 2012 by perfumer Olivier Pescheux.
Review
Although this scent was created for Men, it can be worn by anyone who desires a spicy Vanilla scent. It is a perfect cold weather scent and works well whether you’re bundling up and running errands or going to a formal event. Can be suitable for the office if sprayed sparingly. It is comparable to Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille.
Inspiration
Herod is an ode to Vanilla. It maintains a sweetness that lingers in every way you would want it to and dances an exotic Tango with its spicy layers. It is warm, bold and exotic.
Notes
A blend of Vanilla Pods and Tonka Bean push their way to the front and stay with you throughout each layer. Cinnamon and Pepper add a soft spiciness that makes the sweetness pop as the richer spices of Tobacco and Incense settle in. A Woody Accord, mixed with Patchouli, is softened with a thread of sultry Musk.
