Interlude Woman is a fruity, incensey, amber scent created for Women in 2012 by perfumer Karine Vinchon Spehner.
Review
This scent is rich, luxurious, and out of this world. Notes of fruit and citrus blends with Frankincense, Oud, Leather and Vanillic tones to create a scent that will sweep you off your feet. It is a beast and may not be suitable for the office. It is best suited for colder weather and evening occasions. It is comparable to the long gone Bond No.9 Andy Warhol.
Inspiration
Interlude Woman takes inspiration from the calm within the storm.
In the heart of chaos and disorder, an interlude moment of balance and tranquility reveals itself.
The eye of the hurricane creates an intimate moment within yourself.
Notes
Bergamot, Grapefruit and Ginger create a refreshing opening that is quickly infused with smoky Frankincense and resinous Opoponax. A soft floral accord of Rose, Orange Blossom, Everlasting Flower and Jasmine blend into the warmth of Amber and Musk. Sweeter essences of Vanilla, Benzoin and Tonka Bean mingle with the darker essences of Oud, Leather, Sandalwood and Oakmoss. The end result is shadows dancing in the light, leaving you in awe.
