Review
This scent is intoxicating and inviting with its blend of sweet and spicy.Over time it mellows into a soft, woody, slightly smoky scent that will make everyone want to come in closer for a sniff. It is playful and sensual at the same time. It can be worn to the office, if applied sparingly, but is much better suited for cooler weather and evening occasions, whether casual or formal. It is a great scent for date night, or any time you want to catch someone’s attention. It has similarities to House of Sillage HOS 001, Lolita Lempicka Original, and Parfumerie Nasreen’s Suavis Attar.
Inspiration
K’Abel takes inspiration from a Mayan Queen, named K’Abel, who was a great warrior. She was known to be mischievous, intense, and irresistibly charming.
Notes
The slightly sweet spice essences of Cardamom and Nutmeg blend with the brightness of Lemon, and dance together atop Turkish Rose and Jasmine. Saffron ups the spice infusion, tempered elegantly with the sweetness of Vanilla, Honey, and Dates. A blend of woods begins to unfold in the base, adding warmth and depth that never overpowers the softness above it. Guaiac Wood, Agar Wood, Cedarwood and Sandalwood are softened just enough with the grassy, earthy essence of Vetiver and the floral nuance of Neroli.
