Lalique Pour Homme (Lion) a woody, citrus, aromatic scent created for men in 1997 by perfumer Maurice Roucel.
Review
This scent is a classic, barbershop style Fougere scent. It has a timeless feel that might be too mature for some people. It conjures an image of a Man. He’s freshly cleaned and showered after a morning run, yet the aromas of the outside world permeate his essence. He spritzes on his cologne and puts on his suit. He owns his power and success. This scent works perfect for an office setting, especially when you want to make an impression. It can also easily be worn for both casual and formal occasions, and will work well in any season. Though it has a lightness to it, it will last you all day. There is debate on its comparability to Creed Bois du Portugal, but is on par with classic scents like Boucheron Pour Homme, Jaipur Pour Homme, Guerlain Heritage and Jaguar For Men(green).
Inspiration
Lalique Pour Homme (Lion) takes inspiration from the bonnet ornaments and radiator caps created by Rene Lalique during the 1920’s.
