Le Trou 19 du Phare is an aromatic, spicy, earthy scent created for Men and Women in 2025.
Review
This scent is spicy and aromatic. Black Pepper blends with Black Leather, Vetiver, and Cedarwood to create a scent that is a little bit woody, a little bit airy, and infused with a peppery brightness. It never becomes too much of any one note, but all blends together beautifully and effortlessly. It’s a little bit mischievous, a bit daring, and a bit elegant. While created as a universal fragrance, it does have a slight masculine lean to it. It feels both casual and formal, like someone who has been in meetings all day finally loosening their collar to enjoy a few cocktails. It’s a scent that will make you want to get a little bit closer to the wearer once it captures your attention. It has a lightness to it that feels more intimate, but will last on the skin for hours. It can work as a year round scent, but feels very appropriate for Fall and the cooler weather. It will work perfectly as an office scent, and can easily be dressed up or down for any occasion. It has a vibe similar to a Leathery Barbershop style scent….classic but iconic. TRY THIS SAMPLE AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!
Inspiration
Le Trou 19 du Phare takes inspiration from a friendly ritual where Albert Fouquet would gather with friends, some of whom he worked with at the family vineyard, where the days of business would turn into evenings of golf, dinner, and rituals between longtime friends.
Notes
You can immediately smell the Black Pepper in this scent, but it never feels too Peppery thanks to the refreshing essence of an Aromatic Blend Accord and the Orange Blossom. It never quite tickles your nose, most likely mellowed by the Black Leather and Figolide(Fig Essence). Cinnamon plays a minor role here, living in the background while supporting the earth tones. Vetiver blends well with the Cedarwood, each adding a piece of themselves. You can pick them out, but neither one ever steals the show. Geranium brings a subtle earthy floral tone that likely helps to tone down too much intensity. Patchouli blends with Cistus and Amber in the base, adding to the earthy essence, and bringing depth to the scent. The scent remains airy and spicy, but not too intense.
